Moss thrives in damp, shaded environments, making your roof—especially if partially shaded by trees—an ideal spot for growth. Over time, it gathers moisture and can compromise roofing materials. The weight of moss and retained water can lead to cracked tiles, rotting underlayment, and leaks.

This roof had gathered a dense layer of moss in places over the last 7 years due to heavy tree coverage in the surrounding area. Having assessed the job we got to work. Our scaffold and long reach pole allowed us to reach every corner with ease.

The results of our cleaning efforts were remarkable. The once moss-covered roof was restored to its original, clean appearance, significantly enhancing the overall aesthetic of the property. The original color and texture of the tiles were revealed. The customer was thrilled, and we added a layer of protection to slow the growth of moss, algae or bacterial infestations.
